BRA - Business Relationship Alliance was founded in Los Angeles in 2015 with the purpose of providing female entrepreneurs & solopreneurs a sense of community, collaboration, and empowerment. Since then, we’ve expanded nationwide and evolved!

Our mission is to foster a community where we uplift female and non-binary entrepreneurs and provide support, resources, and opportunities for connection in an inclusive space where you are seen, respected, and accepted.

With continually evolving programming, BRA Network offers education and inspiration to empower Members at every level. Our annual Women on the Rise event is just one way we do this.

Since 2018, BRA has hosted an annual awards luncheon to celebrate female entrepreneurs. We honor three women who are either trailblazers and have paved the way for other women, or who are “up-and-comers” successfully following in their footsteps. Join us on March 14, 2024 for our 6th annual Women on the Rise event, and help us honor the BRA Members who are triumphing with their businesses.

MISTRESS of CEREMONIES

Carrie Murray

Carrie Murray is the Founder of BRA - Business Relationship Alliance and The Wealthy Women Summit, as well as a speaker, podcast host, and a Board Member for three nonprofit organizations.

Carrie has passionately dedicated herself to empowering women for decades. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from San Francisco State University with an emphasis in Domestic Violence, becoming the first member of her family to graduate from college. Carrie worked as a court advocate, helping victims understand their rights and navigate the judicial system and went on to get a Master’s Degree from Antioch University with an emphasis in Social Justice.

Later, Carrie became a teacher in the LA Unified School District, then an administrator at a public charter school, and ultimately a Principal. In 2011, Carrie started her own school, Prestique Academy of Innovation and Technology, a school for twice exceptional kids.

Eventually, BRA was born out of a shared need among her friends who also owned businesses -- a need for community, a place to share experience, provide advice, seek education and receive support from like-minded female entrepreneurs. Both she and BRA have been featured in a variety of interviews, articles, and podcasts!

Vicky & Charisse Pasche

Dapper Boi

The inception of Dapper Boi was driven by a personal struggle. Vicky's journey in finding clothes that truly represented her style and Charisse’s eye-opening experience while shopping for Vicky laid the foundation for a brand that addresses the need for body-positive, size-inclusive clothing. This realization was a catalyst, igniting a mission to fill the void in the market for authentic, non-binary apparel. Their venture, marked by a significant appearance on ABC's Shark Tank, transcended the norms of the fashion industry, becoming a beacon of representation for the LGBTQ+ community.

At its heart, Dapper Boi transcends fashion; it is a movement fostering a culture of change and inclusivity. Vicky and Charisse have crafted a narrative that goes beyond just selling clothes; they are redefining fashion as a form of empowerment and self-expression. Their commitment to challenging the status quo and celebrating every individual’s uniqueness has not only created a brand but a platform for advocacy and change.
